Fast 40 Jahre Bandgeschichte, 6.000 Live-Auftritte und 100 % Kickass - Die Skaband THE TOASTERS ist eine Institution und wird vom legendären New Yorker CBGB Club zu ihren besten 20 Bands gezählt. Gegründet wurde sie in der New Yorker Lower East Side 1981 von Robert "Bucket" Hingley, der bis heute Kopf der Band ist. Seitdem haben THE TOASTERS neun Studioalben und zahlreiche EPs und Singles herausgebracht, viele davon auf dem eigenen Label „Moon Ska Records“. Sie gelten als Begründer der Ska-Explosion der 90er in den USA und haben dabei ihren eigenen Stil entwickelt.
